In front of the green is a false front that can make gauging the distance of your approach shot a challenge. The green is not guarded by any sand traps but going over is not good. This green is easily reachable in two but a sand trap protects it on the right and too far left will put you out of bounds. Going over the green could put you in some brush. The chip from there will be tough as the green slopes back to front. There is a tricky knoll on the right side of the green that is a challenge to put over or around.

A straight ball about 180 to 200 yards will yield an open shot to the green on this dog legged hole.
Tee shots to the right will put you in trees with rough ground to play off of. Tee shots to the left have the chance to roll down a steep hill into the rough and possibly some trees. Either side might force a low shot to the green. The green is down hill on the dog leg and has a sand trap on the left side. The green is fairly narrow and if you miss with your approach shot you’re better off missing right.
Men’s Yardage 386 – Par 4 – Handicap 5
Women’s Yardage 365 – Par 4 – Handicap 3
Definitely a straight or slight fade tee shot is necessary here. Long straight or left could be a problem but right is disaster.
The right side of the fairway is bordered by the creek three quarters of the way to the green. The left side has some trees, rough, and a hill to deal with. The left side also has the famous ‘dead tree’ that makes chipping onto the green harrowing. A good approach shot here is key to a good score. Missing right and left present challenges. To the right is a small grade up to the green and going too far right is the screen protecting the ninth tee. To the left is some thick grass and too far will put you in some pine trees. Going over the green forces you to chip up hill to the green that is severely sloped back to front. The green is also sloped from both sides towards the middle. There are some undulations on this green that have fooled the best of green readers.

Getting over the bridge and winding creek with your tee shot will get you off to a good start.
On the right side of the fairway is the cart path. If you go too far right your in some trees and possibly the creek. The left side of the fairway is bordered at first with a steep hill then some trees. Hitting from the right or left may force a low shot to avoid hitting any trees. In front of the green is a false front that makes judging the distance of your approach shot interesting. The green is sloped back to front and from the left side to the right. There really is no easy put on this green. To the right of is a little knoll protecting the green. To the left is a hill and because of the left to right slope of the green, coming onto the green from there is difficult. Going over the green is real danger as the ground slopes down and your ball could end up in the creek.

A fairly wide fair way that slopes down to the creek. If you’re not a long ball hitter your best option is to play short of the creek. Pine trees and border the left side of the fairway once over the creek. The green is slightly elevated and slopes front to back. Going over on your approach shot will make this hole difficult to par.
Men’s Yardage 407 – Par 4 – Handicap 2

Trees line both side of the fairway for your tee shot. The left side opens up about 50 yards our but only to the rough. Left side opens up about 180 yards out.
The second shot on this hole is the critical one. The approach to the green is protected on the left by a pond and to the right by trees. The green is situated up a slope and if you hit short most likely you will not get on the green. Behind the green is a row of trees that are almost impossible to get through if you land there. The green is sloped back to front so putting up to the hole is the best approach. Putting across the green is challenging due to the severe back to front slope. This one of the toughest greens on the course.

A pond and big tree block the center of the fairway for your tee shot. Clearing both of those will give you a clear shot to the green.
